After a significant period of illness, The Broadway Project's Dan Berridge found himself sitting in front of a computer with entirely too much time on his hands. However, rather than wasting time visiting porn sites and get rich quick pyramid selling chat forums, he wisely decided to pass his time making some of the finest music to issue from the UK of the last ten years.
Berridge is a pathfinder for the downtempo genre. His rhythms and melodies are lifted , processed and craftily spliced together to form a patchwork of fractured beats and half forgotten melodies. This is great travelling music and along with Dave Edwards' Minotaur Shock, I can use this music to travel to the moon and back without ever fearing a dull moment from my headphones.
To summarise; If you don't like the gris gris sounds produced by this very fine fellow indeed, you can feck off.
And you can quote me on that.
